Research interest

Structure and evolution of terrestrial Isopods mitochondrial genome. The study of Armadillidium vulgare (Crustacea, Isopoda) revealed an atypical structure of the mitochondrial genome (Raimond et al. 1999). This genome is composed of two molecular structures: ~28 kb circular dimers and ~14 kb linear monomers. I focus on the features of this genome on A. vulgare and a large scale of other terrestrial Isopods species.
