Research interests

Integrated approach to understand the specificity of our study model between terrestrial isopods and Wolbachia bacteria. This long-lasting interaction has become specific (feminization, cytoplasmic incompatibility). Some host specificities are studied to test if these characters are linked to the established interaction. For example, an analysis of the atypic structure of the mitochondrial genome (3 monomers making a 42-kb genome) is conducted in several species.
