Isolement et caractérisation de molécules anti-Legionella et étude du mode d’action de ces agents antimicrobiens (peptides et biosurfactants) produits par des microorganismes, afin de les utiliser pour contrôler le développement de Legionella dans l’eau.

Développement de traitements antifongiques pour la lutte contre les champignons phytopathogènes de la vigne.

Fonctionnalisation de surfaces par greffage, covalent ou non, de molécules antimicrobiennes, dont des peptides, afin d’essayer d’obtenir des systèmes stables pour l’élaboration de matériaux, biomédicaux en particulier, à activité anti-biofilm.

Etude du dialogue moléculaire entre microorganismes, en particulier dans les microbiotes (quorum sensing), et son impact dans la prolifération et la virulence des bactéries pathogènes.

Impact de polluants environnementaux, dont des perturbateurs endocriniens (PEs), et de leurs métabolites sur la survie et la virulence de constituants bactériens, commensaux et pathogènes, de divers microbiotes humains (cutané, pulmonaire et intestinal) ou environnementaux.

Research Topics

Isolation and characterization of anti-Legionella molecules and study of the mode of action of these antimicrobial agents (peptides and biosurfactants) produced by microorganisms, in order to use them to control the development of Legionella in water.

Development of antifungal treatments for the control of phytopathogenic fungi of the vine.

Functionalization of surfaces by grafting, covalent or not, of antimicrobial molecules, including peptides, to try to obtain stable systems for the development of materials, biomedical in particular, with anti-biofilm activity.

Study of the molecular dialogue between microorganisms, in particular in microbiotas (quorum sensing), and its impact in the proliferation and virulence of pathogenic bacteria.
